Viewing Secure Image Files

BR.io Advanced Image Analysis provides web‑based tools for analyzing, refining, and interpreting gel and blot images acquired with the ChemiDoc Pro instrument.

After you export an image from the ChemiDoc Pro instrument to BR.io, the image becomes available for advanced analysis, allowing you to:

Inspect image data

View the image details and metadata

○

View saturated pixels

○

View the borders for ChemiDoc Pro image regions that correspond to imaged gels or blots

○

View detected lanes

○

Zoom in, zoom out, or resize an image to examine image details or view the full canvas

Adjust an image's intensity and display contrast or invert the image display using the Histogram & Adjustments feature

Important: ChemiDoc Pro secure image files support Histogram & Adjustments and saturated pixel display only. These adjustments cannot be saved to the image file.

Important: Place gels in the correct orientation on the imager transilluminator surface for accurate image capture and analysis.

Note: You can configure the ChemiDoc Pro to automatically export images to BR.io Advanced Image Analysis. You can use Image Lab Touch software (Version 6.1 or later) as an alternative means to view image analysis data.
