Removing Members from an Organization

Organization Admin can remove members from an organization. When a member or another organization Admin is removed:

Members and Admins are also removed from assigned projects.
If an organization Admin removes a project Admin and no other project Admins are assigned to the project, the organization Admin will automatically become the new project Admin . In this instance:
The organization Admin does not need to be assigned to the project to become a project Admin .
If the organization Admin is a project Contributor, the organization Admin will become project Admin .
The organization Admin receives a confirmation email from BR.io with a link to the project.

Tip: Bio-Rad recommends assigning two Admins to an organization, and two Admins to a project.

To remove a Member or Admin from an organization
1. On the Organizations page, click the organization.

The Members tab appears.

2. Click the red x next to the member's name you are removing.

3. In the Remove User confirmation modal, click Remove.

The member is removed from the organization.
